Meet the JPA Team
Gemma
I started JPA in May 2017, having spent 10 years prior to this within SJP working in various departments. My role within the business is to support you and your needs within your business. Every Partner works differently and my role is to ensure the investments and any admin tasks you require are processed smoothly and in a time efficient manner. I also offer support for any administration queries that arise. I have spent many years in the Client Services department where I dealt with a variety of client queries. I feel that providing an excellent customer service is extremely important.
In my spare time, I spend time with my family. I have 3 children who certainly keep me busy but I try to get some down time to myself to recharge my batteries. We also plan to see more of the world so slotting in some weekends away is definitely in the long term plan.
Becky
Having joined JPA in April 2020, I provide administrative support to the team. I enjoy working with a professional team that are all focused on improving the client experience. I predominantly work on the gathering of data with regards to the letters of authority and ensuring all data we need is collated ready for passing to be Paraplanned.
I have come from a background of customer service and I have a wealth of experience in retail, education, telecommunications and financial sectors.
Outside of work I love to spend time with my family and friends. I am a keen gardener and I have also taken on a self build project which keeps me busy.
Nicola
I joined JPA in August last year and my role is to provide administrative support for the wealth department and working on data gathering for the Letters of Authority. I have recently joined St. James’s Place previously I worked in customer service. My role involves data collection in which I spend a lot of time communicating with providers in order to make sure the work is completed accurately and efficiently.
My next challenge is to become a fully qualified paraplanner as I thrive off learning new things and I feel it’s important to know how every piece of the puzzle fits into every process.
Outside of work my hobbies are football and kickboxing. I also love to travel and explore new places, everywhere I go I like to learn a bit of the language in order to get to know people and to feel fully emersed in their culture.
Natalie
I joined JPA in January 2021 and my main role is to cover all your servicing needs, whether that’s updating salesforce, producing client review letters or calling your clients to book meetings in. I aim to tailor the servicing to your needs and am flexible to how your business runs. I thoroughly enjoy working within a customer focused role and readily understand the importance of creating a positive long-lasting impression.
I am a wife and mother of 2 and a dog owner. We enjoy discovering new places to walk and spend quality time together.
Josh
I joined JPA in August last year and I provide administrative support with all the protection and mortgage administration. I aid in submitting applications and chasing providers to ensure that these are completed in a timely manner. I have a keen interest in IT and have gained various skills with my previous roles to support me in this position.
I enjoy playing computer games in my spare time and am part of two football teams which I juggle during the week. I would also like to see more of the world when we are permitted to do so.
Sue
Having joined JPA in December 2021, I support the administration team in a senior capacity. I work with a professional team and my role is focused on new business with collating the necessary letter and paperwork for the partner to conduct their meeting compliantly, and then processing the business efficiently and in a timely manner. There is a great attention to detail here which I pride myself on as it is important that everyone’s investments are processed accurately. I also problem solve with help providing a solution to cases which are a bit out of the ordinary. My motto is if I don’t know the answer I will always endeavour to find out and provide the solution. I support the team and impart my knowledge when needed to ensure that everyone grows into their roles and develop. I have been working for SJP for the last 7 years before my role here I was Practice Manager for a Senior Partner practice. I have 41 years’ experience in financial services and previously I worked in retail banking.
I see my role as providing support to Gemma, to ensure that as Partners, your business needs are met.
Most of my working life has been customer service focused and I am a firm believer in creating a positive environment from initial contact for everyone. This helps achieve a happy work environment and also experience for everyone concerned.
In my spare time I like to watch sport and spend time with my family and friends. I love to travel which mainly is to my house in Greece as often as I possibly can, which hasn’t been a lot the last two years, but hopefully I can make up for it now. I also like weekends away taking in the British countryside as well as City Breaks.
